Hey, I'm John Maksym—an Independent Recording Artist, Songwriter, and Performer, from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.
After over a decade fronting alternative rock bands, I've decided to go out on my own.

I spent my early childhood jumping on my parents' furniture donning a mask, cape, and red toy guitar, pretending to perform on the big stage, entertaining the masses, though I never could have imagined the professional heights that I would reach.

I've been inspired by an eclectic group of musicians—including the showmanship and songwriting of Bruce Springsteen and Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong—with a sound that embodies the alt-rock music of the 90's with a fresh, modern take.
